Traumatized by a recent lifeordeath investigation San Francisco private eye Sharon McCone flees to her ranch in Californias high desert country to contemplate how she wants to spend the rest of her life running a highpressure investigative agency and facing danger at very turn or what? McCone turns to the serene desert landscape for answers but deep depression continues to shadow her days and nights.
